at the new bathroom and laundryroom just behind it. this barndoor was built locally by character interiors.when you slide it back you willenter into this gorgeous new bathroom. just afew steps in and your greetedwith a new double bowl vanity areato your left. a long section of cabinetry and mirrors alsomade of reclaimed wood sitabove the two sinks. while we had the barn door madefor these customers we do haveto mention that one of the homeownersbuilt these custom mirrors fortheir new bathroom. pretty amazing! these vanitiessit at base height which meansit's more similar to a kitchen countertopheight when you are standingand using the sink.
cambria countertops in the"ramsey" design receivedrectangle undermount bowls. the vanity faucets almost havethe style of an antique waterpump spout. they look right at home in thisspace. the same pearl paintedcabinetry with an umber glaze you'll seein the kitchen is used here inthe vanity cabinets. adding a glaze to yourcabinetry gives all of thoseedges and details a chance to really stand out.in this case the umber color ofthe glaze is the perfect compliment tothe oil rubbed bronze fixturesand hardware. extra storage for linens andtoiletries can be found in thistall cabinet that is installed down to the vanitytop. this cabinet helpsvisually divide
the space without overcrowdingthe users at the sinks. a common layout feature in manynew homes being built today isto locate the laundry facilities closer to the livingspaces of the home. now centrally located in thenew space it is far easier tomanage and maintain laundry throughout the day. afront load laundry pair bymaytag has been installed in this newbathroom. the maytag maximaseries is built with the commercialtechnology you can count onform maytag and it has a wide range of features youwill truly love in a washer anddryer pair. this 7100 series is not justavailable in standard white.look at the
metallic slate finish thesecustomers selected. one of themost common questions we get when we havecustomers shopping for frontload laundry is what about that smell my old front load machinehas? when front load laundrywas introduced for residential well over adecade ago, there were manyissues of moisture building up. in return musty smells werecreated from that moisture. many many changes have beenmade in response to theseissues. the first of which is if you look at the seal ofthe front load washers now youwill see holes in the seal to allow for drainage. thismeans no more standing water inthe seal. another incredible feature thatcan be found in select maytagand whirlpool washers

by village home stores. wherei'm now standing used to sit along wall that divided the originalkitchen from the front livingroom. now what used to be 2 crowdedspaces has become 1 incrediblegreat room. an l-shaped kitchen includesthe sink and refrigerator onone wall and the cooking zone on theother. this perimeter surroundsa large single level island with cabinetry facingthe users and seating forguests on it's exterior. we've shown you many kitchensthat include and accent finishon the island, but take a closer look at thiskitchen. do you see another waythe accent finish has been used? not onlyhas the rich birch mocha stainbeen applied
to this gorgeous new island,but the base cabinetry in theperimeter of the kitchen has been stained mocha as well.contrasting base and wallcabinetry can give you that designer edgeand even help make your kitchenseem larger. keeping the darker finishselection on the bases can helpanchor the cabinets visually, and the lighter andbrighter cabinets seem to justfloat and spread above them. speakingof finish the painted pearlfinish with an umber glaze has been applied to theupper cabinets and trim. thebiggest statement made in this design is madewith the decorative wood hoodon this wall. a wood cabinet is fitted with abrone range hood insert inside.
a decorative mantle withcorbels applied are at thecenter of attention. these traditional scrolledcorbels become the perfectplace for that umber accent glaze to highlight everydetail. this great look doesn'tjust end with the hood. it is fittedwith surrounding cabinets thatare fitted with diode l.e.d. lighting, wood mullings,and glass inserts for the doors. these tall glowing cabinetshelp this hood area grab yourattention day and night. with the cabinetry and crownmolding stretching all the wayto the ceiling in this new kitchen staggering the heightsof the wall cabinets is out ofthe question, but the depths had beenstaggered for a great addeddesign detail.
